R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Respect for Animals seeks to protest against all forms of cruelty against animals. Abusing animals is wrong and should never be tolerated by anymore. The North Animal Care and Adoption seek respect for animals because they believe animals, like humans have rights, therefore they look forward to a common knowledge of fundamental animal rights among humans. My First Experience

Hell Yeah great and fun place to volunteer North Animal Care and Adoption Center

PROS-
  • cats
  • flexible hours
  • friendly staff
  • volunteering with friends
  • short ride from home

CONS-

As I walked through the doors of the North Animal Care and Adoption Center, I was welcomed by the friendly staff. The walls were white and covered with posters. The lights were dim and there was a smell of a wet dog in the air. The front desk lady gave me a little tour of where and what I would be doing for the next couple of months. As I walked down the cold hall I noticed all these little brown eyes staring up at me, they all looked so sad and scraggly. I noticed a small shiatsu and a few other mutt dogs. She showed me the kittens and cats up for adoption. I love cats but am so allergic to them. She informed me that I would be cleaning cages, washing cats & dogs, feeding animals, showing people the animals, cleaning, and walking dogs. The job seemed really easy, exciting news to hear. I am excited to start volunteering in most ways, I enjoy working with animals.
